We arrived in Atlanta on Friday morning, having slept a bit on the redeye flight from Seattle. After settling into the room (and making them give us a new room because they tried to put us on a smoking floor in an outside-facing distant-from-the-con room during freezing cold weather), we freshened up and headed in. The main con programming space was still in the process of being decorated. Among the first people we saw was Mary Bertke, shown here being a good sport as I attempted to take embarrassing photos of her.
