Franklin Gunkelman was our Interfilk guest from Germany. He was wonderful and amazing, a master of languages. Even though English is his second language, his songs often included very clever linguistic tricks, such as one song with deliberate mis-pronunciations of key rhymes that had us rolling on the floor. He was also a very good sport about dressing up in a goofy outfit to perform in the presentation of the musical 'Dr. Who and the Torians'.
