We were deposited at the hotel, and after we checked in, we went to find the other early-birds at the con. We ended up trading songs in the executive boardroom with the toastmasters Puzzlebox, international guest Chris 'Uncle Christo' Conway, con chair Dr. James Robinson, and Treasurer Alan Thiesen.

This was the first time I'd met Christo, and WOW was I ever blown away. I was tremendously impressed by his talent, skill, and quick-witted humor. He's a fantastic person. The fact that he's English doesn't hurt, either.
