One of the filk circles on Saturday night.
After the Interfilk auction and concerts, there were two theme-based circles going on, and no open chaos circles. I didn't have any songs to contribute to either of the theme circles (even after sitting down in one of them and thumbing through my songbook and not finding anything appropriate), so Kristoph, Margaret and I decided to start the Rage Against the Themes circle. It quickly grew in size, and as the theme circles ended, folks filtered in, with the evening eventually settling into two separate chaos circles.
Note the people from the Filk Film Project here, shooting Jeff and Maya as they sing. They were very good at being unobtrusive, I was very impressed with how well they went about their business. They're really nice people, too. One of the filmmakers has a sorta-famous relative: It's hard to tell in this photo, but in person, Jim Hanks has a very noticeable family resemblance to Tom.
