Seattle, May 2005
Boeing Surplus can really work up one's appetite. We stopped at a restaurant in the University district. Don't recall exactly which restaurant it was, but it was one of those theme places like TGI Friday's where both the restaurant and the employees must be adorned with numerous pieces of 'Flair'.

The outdoor seating allowed us to see boats moving by as part of some sort of water-borne parade that was going on that day. It was a huge parade, the water was covered with thousands of boats.

During our meal, a massive drawbridge opened up just past the tree line. Vixy explained the system of horn honks that the boats give, and that the bridge operator responds with.
